Not only is it well designed and beautifully made, but it's priced very competitively as well, and comes with a full three-pedal setup that will ensure that you won't have to upgrade anytime soon. While it's perfectly possible to jump into the game and have fun with a controller, those looking for racing wheels also have some of the best variety of all time as it stands, but the incredible Logitech G920 stands above the rest. But, now that I have the ideal settings. With the next-generation of consoles on the horizon and games like Project Cars 3 out already, racing simulators have likely never been in a better place then they are now. The only downside of a PC - you spend more time fiddling with settings and experimenting with overclocks than you do actually racing. I run an i7 9700k at about 4.9GHz and the GPU is the GTX 1080 overclocked by 165Mhz core and 215Mhz memory (most stable and gives better FPS than going higher or lower, strangely.) All dry races is 60fps all day in any conditions (rig can do more but the TV refresh is 4k at 60hz). In game, the PC will cruise along at 60fps with crystal clear and sharp visuals, races may dip it into the 50's when the screen gets busy in a storm weather race.but I can live with that as storm races are not the norm. The only time on the PC I run into issues is the odd stutter on replays.on the XB1X - the replys look very very poor in certain conditions visually, compared to PC. The XB1X was full of jaggies by comparison - it does dynamically downscale graphics to maintain 60fps as I understand it. Coming from 4k on the PC with all high settings, car textures on ultra and particles set to medium, with only post AA cranked up to SMAA ultra and SS off and render frames in advance set to 2, you see the difference. I ran a race on the XB1X with same time and weather as I did on the PC, and the difference was very noticeable. I have all (lucky me), but I am really seeing what machine would be best to run PC2 visually, on reasonable FPS.

This is not intended as a PS4 vs XB vs PC debate.

Can i play project cars pc against xbox ond license#
I have a G920 Logitech wheel so it is cross-platform Xbox to PC, the only kicker is I would have to re-purchase PC2 on steam or something.as the license is not transferrable on the MS Gamepass. I would like all settings set to max if possible as I am a visual whore as opposed to FPS chasing.I love beautiful cars, rendered as best as possible, while at the same time being able to play the sim without stuttering.ĭo you guys think it is worth the move to PC? While the One X can get to 1440p to 1650p, I do have a full 4k TV next to my PC.so I am thinking - do I use the PC to run this in 4k.

It has an Nvidia GTX 1080 card (8GB GDDR5 at 1400MHZ approx, i7 9700k 8 core processor that can turbo to 4.9 GHz - base clock 3.6 GHz, 16GB ram and 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD. Last year I bought an Alienware Aurora R8 to handle X-Plane 11, as I don't get the time to sim that title much more, and having PC2 on the Xbox One X, the Alienware system is just used for office type work stuff.totally underutilized. So I am new to PC2 and back into gaming and sim after a while away.
